Russia's Recent Advancements in Ukraine

Russian Defense Ministry reported the capture of 5 settlements in Ukraine's Harkiv and Donetsk regions in the past week. The captured settlements include Novomlynsk in Harkiv and Krımskoye, Baranovka, Drujba, and Derjinsk in Donetsk People's Republic.

The ministry highlighted precision attacks using high-tech weapons and drones on Ukrainian infrastructure facilities, including gas, energy, and airport installations, as well as drone storage and training centers, ammunition and fuel depots.

The announcement also mentioned the capture of 19 Ukrainian soldiers as prisoners of war and the destruction of a significant number of Ukrainian military assets since the beginning of the conflict, such as aircraft, helicopters, drones, air defense missile systems, tanks, artillery, and military vehicles.

Furthermore, the Defense Ministry disclosed the losses suffered by the Ukrainian army in terms of personnel and equipment, particularly in the Kursk region.
