Russia invites Kim Jong-un

pyongyang - The North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has again received a senior foreign official in Pyongyang. He met the Russian minister Sergej Lavrov (Foreign Affairs), who according to news agency TASS invited him to visit Russia.

'Come to Russia, we would be delighted to welcome you,' Lavrov said at the end of the meeting. It is still unclear whether Kim accepted the invitation. He has only known China and South Korea since taking office.

The North Korean leader may add another country to that list next month, if he goes to Singapore for top talks with US President Donald Trump. It is still unclear whether that continues.
