Riots in English in Marseille Old Port

- A day before the opening of the European Championship in France were the first problems with supporters. Two hundred English football supporters Thursday night caused riots in the French port of Marseilles.
The police had to use tear gas to drive the mob apart at an Irish pub in the Old Port. Two people have been arrested, the newspaper La Provence reported on the authority of the Interior Ministry.
