Residents flat Dordrecht treated after fire

dordrecht - After a brief, but fierce fire in an apartment in Dordrecht several people Saturday treated by ambulance personnel. Four of them have been brought to a hospital, the fire department announced. A spokesman said that pets, including presumably some cats to have been killed by the fire.

The fire broke out in an apartment on the first floor and spread to two other apartments. A total of eight people had their property to the Ruys de Beerenbrouckweg quickly, while the flames leaped from the property. Aid workers also managed to rescue various animals from the complex.

The city of Dordrecht looks or alternative housing is needed for the residents of the affected homes. About the cause of the fire is still unknown.
