- The major labels in addition to music piracy have found a new target to fight. Ripping music from YouTube, according to the record companies a 'major threat' '. They have therefore sued the German website YouTube-mp3.org.

Through that website users can with a few clicks free mp3 files from videos on YouTube. Many record labels transfer videos to YouTube and say that the MP3 service costs them sales.

According to the indictment, there is copyright infringement. The labels also require compensation. They also want the site is made inaccessible.
