las vegas - Realbotix recently unveiled Aria, a human-like robot designed to form emotional relationships and combat loneliness epidemic. Learn more about this innovative creation here.

Realbotix CEO, Andrew Kiguel, presented the robot named Aria at CES in Las Vegas. Aria is the latest addition to the company's line of realistic robots. Unlike previous models, Aria is specifically designed for forming romantic relationships.

Aria is customizable with features like magnetic skin that allows quick facial changes. However, such high-tech companionship comes with a hefty price tag of nearly 170,000 euros for a complete robot or around 11,600 euros for just a face and shoulders.

Kiguel views Aria as a response to the growing loneliness epidemic, especially among singles. While the robot aims to bridge emotional connections, there are still technical limitations in terms of lip sync, limb movement, and facial expressions.

Despite these challenges, Kiguel remains optimistic about Aria's potential to create emotional bonds with users. The robot's built-in cameras provide visual recognition capabilities, enhancing the personalized experience for each individual.

While Aria is not primarily marketed as a sex robot, it does offer opportunities for intimate conversations. Kiguel emphasizes the focus on establishing a genuine emotional connection with the robot rather than just physical interactions.
