Before the taraweeh prayer, Muslims gathered in Times Square and delivered speeches expressing their support for the people of Palestine. Slogans of 'Free Palestine' echoed in the square, condemning Israel's attacks on Gaza.

Speakers highlighted the tolerance and understanding of Islam, denouncing the attacks on Gaza as a genocide and calling for unity among all Muslims.

Official Permissions and Iftar for 1,500 People

The Muslim associations organizing the event stated that they obtained necessary permissions from authorities. Additionally, in collaboration with sponsors, approximately 1,500 people were provided with free iftar meals.
