Racheal Kundananji's Expectations for 2025 NWSL Season

Racheal Kundananji, the Zambian forward for Bay FC, aims for consistency and better performance in the 2025 NWSL season. After being the record transfer in women's football in 2024, Kundananji is determined to showcase her best form. She scored five goals in her debut season and believes that she can deliver more consistent performances this year.

Reflecting on her past season, Kundananji expressed her desire to show the world something different in the upcoming matches. She emphasized the importance of individual improvement as well as teamwork for Bay FC, stating that they need to demonstrate a new level of play as an established team in the NWSL. The 24-year-old striker acknowledged missing chances in the previous season but assured fans of a more refined performance without making promises.

Kundananji highlighted the significance of enjoying the game and playing freely to deliver her best performances. She mentioned her technique for handling criticism from her home country, Zambia, by using the support of her fans as motivation. The forward is eager to kick off the 2025 NWSL season against Utah Royals on March 15 and aims to lead Bay FC to a successful campaign.
