Qatari Emir's Historic Visit to Syria

Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani made an official visit to Syria and was welcomed by State Minister Ahmed Shaar. This visit marks the first by a foreign leader to Syria post-Assad regime. Syrian Foreign Minister Assad Shaybani and Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Khulaifi discussed bilateral cooperation in a press conference, focusing on rebuilding the war-torn country. Qatar pledged continued support in humanitarian aid, infrastructure, and electricity sectors. The visit signifies a potential shift in regional dynamics.
