Putin announces day of national mourning

moscow - Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared national mourning Wednesday to reflect on the victims of the fatal fire in a shopping center in Siberia. In addition, 64 people, including 41 children, were killed.

He visited the spot of the fire in the city of Kemerovo on Tuesday and promised angry residents that those responsible for what he called 'criminal negligence' will be severely punished.
