frankfurt - A 24-year-old Colombian was sentenced Monday in Frankfurt to 2.5 years in prison for smuggling 850 grams of cocaine in specially made breast implants.

The 'cocaine silicon' were removed in a hospital in an hour-long surgery, after she had wounded a police officer upon arrival at the airport of Frankfurt in February due to severe chest pain and asked for help. The two implants was a total of 850 grams of cocaine out, reported the broadcaster Hesse.

The woman said as a country laborer to live in abject poverty with its own three children, her mother and eight younger sisters. She wanted to pay the education of some sisters with the 850 euros they would get for smuggling. She was in his own words shortly before her flight to Europe in a private surgery under anesthesia and got breast implants. She got on the plane and pain panicked.

The judge called it a shocking case in which the woman took a major health hazard. The court chose, despite the sad circumstances for a suspended sentence because this would be a wrong signal to the drug traffickers.
