Princess Victoria rewards students for important invention

- Crown princess Victoria of Sweden presented the Junior Water Prize 2018 at the annual World Water Week in Stockholm on Tuesday evening.

The lucky winners were two students from Singapore: Caleb Liow Jia Le and Johnny Xiao Hong Yu.

The two won the prize for finding a method to produce graphene oxide, which can be used for purifying water. They were chosen from more than ten thousand entries.

On Wednesday, Victoria, since 1994 patron of the Stockholm Junior Water Prize, has been reunited. Then the Stockholm Water Prize 2018 will be awarded. In addition, a symposium will take place where King Carl Gustaf is also present.
