Prince Albert condemns attack on team bus

- Prince Albert II of Monaco called the attack on the team bus for football club Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday 'despicable and appalling.' He told the German broadcaster RTL.

Albert was as often as supporter along with AS Monaco, which was Tuesday in the Champions League game against Dortmund. The Monegasque prince was in his hotel when the Dortmund bus went off three explosives.

'We got the news in small pieces in. First we heard that a player was injured and then the other players were safe,' said Albert, who had to stay at his hotel all night for security reasons. 'Sport should not be used by such madmen', he concluded.

The match between Dortmund and AS Monaco has been postponed to Wednesday. Or Albert then when is not known.
