President Erdogan's Visit to Indonesia

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Indonesia on 11-12 February has captured significant attention in the Indonesian press. The Jawa Pos highlighted Erdogan's meetings with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the Bogor Palace, where the public gathered to welcome him. The news also emphasized the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Indonesia, with 75 mounted soldiers in red and white uniforms as a special tribute.

The Jakarta Post focused on Erdogan and Subianto's discussions and their leadership at the inaugural meeting of the High-Level Cooperation Council. The signing of 13 agreements between the two countries was also mentioned, underscoring Erdogan's role as a key player in international relations, especially concerning Middle Eastern affairs.

Detik News reported on approximately 2,500 Indonesian students welcoming President Erdogan's convoy with Turkish flags, accompanied by local residents. The special respect shown by Subianto towards Erdogan was highlighted during the airport reception and the escort to the hotel.

Antara noted the joint use of an umbrella by Erdogan and Subianto amidst heavy rain, symbolizing the close ties between Turkey and Indonesia.
