According to its Ministers of the Interior and of Transport, the concession granted to Autostrade d'Italia is withdrawn.

Autostrade d'Italia motorway manager is part of the Atlantia infrastructure group. This is dominated by the Benetton family of entrepreneurs. Their fashion company also joined the business of motorways in Italy twenty years ago, which were imposed on private companies in 1999.
