lille - Storm and snow have caused problems in large parts of France. Since Sunday, nearly 100,000 households have been without power as a result of severe weather, especially in the north of the country.
French media speak of a mixture of bad weather conditions that are fueled by what the storm Ana is called. This storm has traveled northwards from the Pyrenees in the weekend and has wind speeds of up to 150 kilometers.
The bad weather does not just consist of snow, sleet and storm. In the southeast, heavy rainfall and high waves along the coast have been reported that can cause flooding.
