Possible shots fired at JFK airport
- Part of the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York was evacuated during the night of Sunday to Monday after police received reports of shots were fired. There are, according to the police found no evidence that there is actually shot.
Around 21. 30 pm (local time) was reported two shots were fired in terminal eight. The police and security authorities of the airport then evacuated part of the airport. Although research is ongoing, are as yet no bullets were found. The police reported that there were no wounded.
From eight terminal leave several major airlines including American Airlines and Air Berlin. A number of flights to New York are diverted and departing aircraft are still provisional, CNN reports.
