Possible information students on the streets after hack

utrecht - By an intrusion into the central database of different digital learning systems are possible, the personal data of thousands of high school students come to lie on the street. Name, address, date of birth, email address and passwords of accounts are possible stolen. Reported the Association of schools in secondary education (VO Council) Friday.

It is not exactly clear what the consequences of the hack. Schools and students are informed and affected distributors of digital learning systems have reported the burglary to the police and the Authority for Personal Data. The leak has since been plugged and passwords as a precaution disabled.
