Pokémon players around the earth 200,000 times

tokio - The people who played Pokémon Go, walked in a few months time together 8.7 billion kilometers. That's 200,000 times around the world. During these trips they have caught 88 Pokémon billion, or 533 million per day.

According Niantic Labs, the maker of the popular game, would need an airliner over 1000 years to cover that distance.

The figures go until December 7th. Meanwhile there are so many more walking and there are still caught more monsters. In September, the counter stood at 4.6 billion kilometers.
