beijing - Cotton seeds that have been brought to the moon by a Chinese probe have come true. That says the Chinese space agency CNSA. It is the first time that plants grow on the moon.
On 7 December last year, China launched the Chang'e-4 space probe towards the moon. The spaceship was sent to the back of the celestial body. A robot is doing research on the moon surface for the first time.
