Pizza delivered at gate Schiphol

schiphol - Travelers waiting at Schiphol for a flight can now also deliver meals such as pizza and sushi.

Meal deliverer Deliveroo and catering company HMSHost join forces. In the first instance it is a test on the E-pier of the airport.

The companies promise to serve the travelers within 15 minutes. Next month the delivery area will be extended to the D-pier of Schiphol. The trial runs initially until the end of March. If it is a success, the delivery service will be a 'stay away', according to a spokesman for the airport.

The delivery meals can also be ordered as room service at the Mercure Hotel. That hotel is also past the passport control at the airport.
