auckland - More than 200 pilot whales were stranded on a beach in New Zealand have saved himself. When the tide was they managed to swim back to sea in it.

In recent days washed two large groups of whale species on a northwestern beach on the South Island. Rescuers were trying to save the animals with might and main, but still 350 pilot whales died. Twenty animals were so weakened that they let doctors sleep.

Volunteers try to save the animals by keeping them wet. Also, a human chain was formed in order to keep them from the beach.

In total 650 animals beached certainly the largest stranding in New Zealand since 1985.
