It was two o'clock Sunday afternoon when a paella was made in a finca of family members, by the parents of Julen. A series of activities had just been carried out on the farm. The mother watched the child but received a phone call and asked father Jose to pay attention to him. He just went to get wood for the fire, and lost his son Julen for a few seconds. He later told the Guardia Civil that he saw his little son running and, twelve meters down the road, he saw a pit, his arms up. In previous work, the stone would have been removed from the well, which had been struck a month earlier.
