beijing - Residents of the Chinese capital Beijing can expect a hefty reward on Monday as they indicated spies. Authorities in the city, according to Chinese media willing to pay half a million yuan (over 68,000 euros) for tips about suspicious activity.

Foreign intelligence services according to state media have stepped up their 'political infiltration' of Chinese society. Not only foreigners are a threat. Chinese citizens were sometimes 'personal gain' market sensitive information to foreign spies.
