- In 2016 it will be possible to pay in physical stores via PayPal. The service will support end payments via QR codes.
That spokesman Gijs Boudewijn Payments Association Netherlands told BNR. In a physical store payment via Visa can be useful when there is no cash machine is available. Customers can then pay via their smartphone. Also in the new service offerings can be a godsend.
Qr codes are black and white cubes that you can scan with a smartphone and refer to a link. The qr codes iDeal refer the customer to the payment environment of the service. Retailers may print the codes on the receipt.
It is not yet known when the new service is available. Currently iDeal payments only from online stores.
