Parents inadvertently name child to local newspaper

World January 5, 2018 16:06

- Harlow Star is not just a local newspaper in Essex in England, but also the name of a girl in a few weeks. Just before Christmas the baby came into the world in Somerset. Her parents did not know that the name was the same as the local newspaper more than three hundred kilometers away.

Harlow Star is the third child of Brenda Davies and Emma Langley after Elijah (6) and Dougie (5). Brendan works at the fire department and sells kitchens.

He explains how he came to the name at the local news site Essex Live. 'It was an idea from my wife. She wanted that name if we ever had a daughter, if we were so happy. 'Harlow' stands for freedom and adventure, 'Star' stands for family and friends who are no longer with us. '
