
Panic in Spanish resort
- In the Spanish resort of Playa d'Aro Tuesday briefly panic erupted among tourists. People on the boulevard walked or sat to dine on a terrace set off running after a group of vacationers caused terror.
The instigators had, according to the Spanish newspaper El País, tripods and selfiesticks with them that were regarded as weapons. It would be according to Spanish authorities to collect a 'flash mob', a funny movie meant that a large group of people from nowhere at the same place and do something together, like a dance. There would be a celebrity Tuesday and have been spotted from scratch people would have started running and screaming. The resulting turmoil then hit on by other tourists. There would be put in a terrorist attack scene reported Spanish media, but that is not confirmed.
On video on Twitter shows that dozens of people fleeing. The emergency services received many reports and immediately hit the alarm. In the streets of the town on the Costa Brava was swarming with police cars with sirens. Some frightened tourists hid until it appeared that it was a false alarm.
