Panama Papers cost cup corruption fighter

- The revelations about tax evasion and avoidance through a Panamanian advisory, christened the Panama Papers, are also victims unexpected source. The head of the Chilean branch of corruption watchdog Transparency International has resigned because his name is in the documents.

Gonzalo Delaveau is not directly accused of tax evasion or other crimes, but would be associated with up to five offshore companies mentioned in the Panamase consultancy Mossack Fonseca the leaked documents. All five of them are located in the Bahamas, a known tax haven.
