'Palm back on mobile market'

amsterdam - Palm returns to the mobile equipment market. The Chinese TCL blows the brand known from the Palm Pilot, one of the smartphone precursors, revived. A topman of TCL has confirmed that to Android Planet.

What products are going to be announced will be announced next year. It might be smartphones and a new version of the Palm Pilot. This was very personal in the business world as a personal digital assistant (PDA) in the late 1990s.

TCL adds a fourth brand to Palm on its assortment. In addition to TCL, Blackberry for the business market and Alcatel for millennials, the company targets Palm on an older target audience who is interested in the latest technology.
