'Palestinian Prime Minister escapes attack'

gaza - The Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah seems to have escaped an attack on Tuesday. Shortly after a convoy drove past the premier, there was an explosion along the road in the Gaza Strip.

The office of the Palestinian president briefly blamed the Hamas movement after the incident for the explosion which according to the statement was aimed at the convoy with the prime minister.

On TV footage, just after the incident, Prime Minister Hamdallah was shown to enter a building for a meeting.
