World September 5, 2017 10:54

geneva - Cholera still catches around Yemen. Since April, 612,703 people have been affected by the disease in the stray country, according to World Health Organization and Yemeni authorities.

In recent days thousands of new infections have been reported. The infectious disease is caused by a bacterium. The symptoms are diarrhea and dehydration. Polluted water is the main cause.

Cholera is good to fight if the disease is recognized in good time, but a continuous civil war has destroyed numerous hospitals. Other infrastructure is also in ruins.
