christchurch - More than a hundred students at Canterbury University suffered from food poisoning, leading to chaotic scenes as they queued up for toilets, some forced to resort to windows and balconies to vomit.

More than a hundred students at Canterbury University fell ill due to a mass food poisoning incident, causing chaotic scenes with long queues for the toilets. Some students had to resort to windows and balconies to vomit as the queues grew longer. "It was a bloodbath," said one affected student at the New Zealand university.

Early in the morning, long lines formed outside the university toilets, with some students even skipping exams to empty their stomachs. Others were less fortunate and had to find alternative ways to address the food poisoning due to the long queues.

The cause of the mass food poisoning has not been confirmed yet, but students suspect the Sunday evening catering as the culprit. The university is working with health authorities to determine the cause of the mass poisoning.
