Orangutans Rescued in Thailand
Two baby orangutans, Christopher and Stefan, were recently rescued in Thailand after being illegally traded. The orangutans, native to Borneo and Sumatra, were intercepted before being sold for a total of 16,000 euros.
Caring for the Orangutans
The mini-apes are now in the care of Thai animal protection authorities. They are being examined for any health issues and nurtured back to health before being released back into the wild.
