Oprah the new presidential candidate?

hollywood - The speech by Oprah Winfrey last night at the Golden Globes has made such an impression that \u0026 quot; Oprah for president 2020 \u0026 quot; trending is on Twitter.

During the Globes she called for tolerance and equality. Oprah received the Cecil B. DeMille Award, a prize that is awarded annually to someone who has made a special contribution to the entertainment world.

Winfrey referred to the black actor Sidney Poitier who set an example for her when he won his Oscar and the Cecil B. DeMille Award. And she indicated that she realizes that she too is now an example for young girls now that she is the first black woman to receive this award.

'For far too long women have not heard or believed when they put their truth against the power of men, but their time is over, their time is over, their time is over.'

'I want all the girls who see this to know that a new day is coming. And when that day comes, it will be thanks to all the wonderful women and some pretty phenomenal men in this space who will do everything they can to become the leaders who will take us to a time where no one will ever have to say 'me too' again.. '
