the hague - In case of an attack in the Syrian province of Idlib, chlorine gas was probably used. This was concluded by researchers from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. They have not investigated who is responsible for the attack.

The gas would have been used on 4 February in an attack on Saraqib. Researchers based themselves, among other things, on testimonies and samples. After the attack, patients also reported to medical centers with symptoms that indicated exposure to chlorine and other chemicals.
