NS extends app: door to door plan

utrecht - Major changes within the NS Travel Planner Xtra app. Travelers can now plan their door-to-door trip thanks to an update. In addition to the departure times of the train it is possible to view the times of the bus, tram, metro and ferry. According to the NS, current users should be offered the update (for iOS and Android) before June 19th.

This reflects the renewed NS app on the 9292 app of the REIS information group B. V. By 9292, it has been possible to plan your door-to-door journey, while NS focuses exclusively on train connections.

With the update it is also possible to see if OV bikes are available at the station of arrival. In addition, the layout has changed. Where you previously had to open a menu to see the interruptions, this is now standard at the bottom of the screen, with some other tabs. The number of the error icon shows immediately how many disturbances there are.
