nottingham - Nottingham Forest is finalizing transfer deadline day agreements for winger Dilane Bakwa from Strasbourg and fullback Cuiabano from Botafogo, nearing a total summer spending of £200 million.

Nottingham Forest Near Deals for Bakwa and Cuiabano

Nottingham Forest is on the verge of completing two significant transfer deals on deadline day, with winger Dilane Bakwa from Strasbourg and fullback Cuiabano from Botafogo.

Summer Spending Reaches £200 Million

If both deals are finalized, Nottingham Forest's total spending for the summer would be close to £200 million, a substantial investment for the club.

Player Details

Bakwa, 23, a former French Under-21 player, is set to join Forest from Strasbourg for around £35 million. Cuiabano, 22, would strengthen the team's left-back position and become the fourth Brazilian arrival this summer.

With Bakwa already showcasing his skills in Ligue 1 this season and Cuiabano adding depth to the defensive line, Forest aims to further solidify their squad.

Summer Signings and Potential Further Activity

If the deals go through, Nottingham Forest will have welcomed a total of 12 new players this summer, with the possibility of more signings on the horizon.

Joining a list of notable signings, Bakwa and Cuiabano will contribute to Forest's evolving squad under manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
