North Korean top figure to New York

beijing - The former chief of the North Korean secret service and chief executive in the government party, Kim Yong-chol, boarded a plane to the United States on Wednesday in Beijing. He is going to talk in New York with the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo.

The two are said to speak about a summit meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
