Newcastle United has secured the services of Brentford striker Yoane Wissa in a £55 million deal, aiming to fill the void left by Alexander Isak's departure to Liverpool.

Replacements and Transfers

Following Isak's move, Newcastle reinvested by bringing in Germany forward Nick Woltemade from Stuggart in a £64.9 million deal. The club decided not to pursue Wolves forward Jørgen Strand Larsen, opting for Wissa instead.

Player Demand and Transfer Details

Wissa, 28, expressed his desire to move to Newcastle during preseason and has not played for Brentford this season. After Brentford approved his departure, Wissa is set to join St. James' Park.
