wellington - New Zealand has the belly full of tourists who are already begging through the country and even use soup kitchens. The country is outraged by a New Zealander and a German who 'paced' in this way, the latest example of what according to critics is apparently a new trend.
The couple has been traveling through the country for three weeks without spending a cent. They foam waste bins for food, begging and visiting soup kitchens. 'It is inappropriate to use soup kitchens or social services because you want to travel cheaply', a spokesman for the social service in Wellington told Newstalk ZB.
'Soup kitchens are made for people in need and I understand why people get excited about this,' said the manager of such a charity restaurant. 'I think they find it an insult if people who can afford food abuse it. '
