New cases of ebola in Mbandaka city

kinshasa - In the city of Mbandaka in the northwest of the Democratic Republic of Congo three new cases of the infectious Ebola disease have been detected. The Ministry of Health confirms that the Ebola virus was found in the Wangata district, near the Congo River.

Mbandaka is a city with more than one million inhabitants, located on the Congo a transit port for trade and transport to the capital Kinshasa. There had certainly been one case earlier this week.
