Netanyahu Accepts New Ceasefire Proposal in Gaza Strip

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly approved a new ceasefire proposal in the Gaza Strip, awaiting confirmation from Hamas through mediators.

Details of the Proposal

The plan, not officially disclosed yet, includes a potential 60-day ceasefire if both parties agree. Additionally, it involves the release of Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.

Earlier this year, Hamas and Israel reached a ceasefire agreement to end hostilities, but disagreements arose during the following phases. Subsequently, Israel resumed extensive attacks on Gaza and military operations in the Palestinian territory.
