NATO: North Korean missile reaches to Europe

The rocket test that Pyongyang did last week has shown that all allies are within reach, said the executive of the Western Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, Monday.

The whole world must 'exert maximum pressure' on North Korea to come to a peaceful solution, says Stoltenberg. According to him, a military action is not yet under discussion. He said he was relying on the deterrent effect of the military force of the alliance.

The issue is high on the agenda of a meeting held by the Foreign Ministers of the 29 NATO countries this week in Brussels. The subject will be discussed on Tuesday evening at a dinner where the American minister Rex Tillerson is also present.

South Korea already stated last week that the tested Hwasong-15 rocket can cover a distance of more than 13,000 kilometers.
