National Security Council Established
In an effort to strengthen security in Syria, the National Security Council has been formed under the presidency of the President. The council will be responsible for coordinating security and political policies.
Council Composition:
- Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Interior
- General Intelligence Director
- 2 advisors appointed by the President
- 1 technical expert
Meetings will be held regularly upon the President's invitation and as deemed necessary.
