Myanmar allows political prisoners

naypyidaw - The new government in Myanmar has almost two hundred political prisoners released and put on the Buddhist New Year later this week even more dissidents at large.

The Ministry of Information told the Australian news channel Sky which 199 prisoners have been released after Friday's charges were dropped against them. Among those released were 69 students who demanded during a march educational reform last year.
