Murdered journalist Kim Wall

trelleborg/copenhagen - The Swedish journalist Kim Wall, who was murdered almost horribly a year ago, was confined in private. Wall was killed in Danish waters by the Danish inventor Peter Madsen on his submarine, the Nautilus.

The murder, committed in August last year, shocked both home and abroad because Madsen tried to make the body disappear into pieces in the sea. Body parts have resurfaced over time. Madsen has been sentenced to life imprisonment.

The funeral was last Friday at Trelleborg in the far south of Sweden. Wall's mother told a Danish newspaper this Wednesday.
