los angeles - The murder case of two young women shocks Los Angeles as suspects include Hollywood producer David Pearce.

Tragic Night in Los Angeles

In 2021, friends Christy Giles and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola were found dead after a night out in Los Angeles. Police identified suspects, including Hollywood producer David Pearce.

After attending a party, Giles and Cabrales-Arzola went to Pearce's Beverly Hills home. Text messages revealed their fear. Giles texted: 'Let’s get out of here.'

An Uber arrived but left without them. Hours later, Giles was found unconscious and died on the spot, while her friend was in critical condition in another hospital and died ten days later.

Security footage showed two men dumping the bodies from a car. Pearce and his housemate Osborn were arrested a month later.

Prosecutors claim Pearce administered a deadly mix of drugs, including cocaine, fentanyl, and GHB. Pearce and Osborn pleaded not guilty.

Michael Ansbach, a key witness, testified that Pearce distributed drugs and said 'Dead girls can't talk.' Pearce faces additional charges for sexual abuse of seven women.

Family Reactions

Christy's mother demands justice, calling Pearce a monster. Cabrales-Arzola's father avoids the trial in Mexico for mental health reasons.

The trial is set to resume next week.
