At least eight people have lost their lives in Novi Sad, Serbia, after a canopy collapsed at a train station, with more than twenty reported injured. The Serbian news site Srbija Danas described the incident as a horrific accident, mentioning nine fatalities.
Novi Sad, located on the Danube River, is the second largest city in Serbia after the capital Belgrade.
