Mother gets attack, brave boy (8) takes over

colchester - An eight-year-old boy from England did a heroic act last Thursday in Colchester: after his mother lost consciousness while driving, the boy got the car under control and parked on the emergency lane.

According to Standard, the two drove 95 km per hour in a Ford Ka on the four-lane A120 when Lauren Smith, the mother of eight-year-old Ben, was attacked and the car landed in the central reservation. The boy seized and turned on the lights, took over the steering wheel and drove to the emergency lane.
