Mother ditch son years in bathroom

toquerville - An American woman is accused of having locked her teenage son for at least a year in a bathroom. According to police, the boy was possibly even two years stuck in the dank, dark room on the upper floor of a house in Toquerville, in the state of Utah.

When officers saw the boy, he weighed only 14 kilos by severe malnutrition. The conditions in the bathroom were horrific, reports CNN. The toilet bowl was full of excrement, the door was locked from outside were turned on and the light switches and taped with duct tape. Empty bean cans and a spoon were in the shower, which drain with duct tape had been taped.

'I've seen other horrific things, but I will never forget,' said Officer David Crouse. According to him, the mother had installed a camera so she could keep an eye on her son through her phone. They also gave instructions by using the baby monitor, but her son could not respond there.

The father, who was separated from mother Brandy Jaynes, found his son Sunday and took him to the hospital, where he should convalesce at least three weeks. He was three years not been to school.

The child accused Jaynes claimed them off the boy and then locked for his own safety. Her other two children had no signs of abuse.
